SWOP meeting 24th November 2016

Please join us  for our SWOP AGM on the 24th November 2016  at 1pm, in Edinburgh at the Advocates Library, Assembly Close (just off the Royal Mile)

This event provides a great opportunity for networking and discussing common themes and issues in official publications.

We are delighted to have a variety of speakers for this event:

Developments  at MyGovt.scot and Doteveryone

Jono Ellis from the Scottish Government

“In the interests of the nation: First World War propaganda”

Jan Usher, Curator of Social Sciences, National Library of Scotland

“The Joy of Spines”

Graeme Hawley, General Collections Manager, National Library of Scotland.

With great reviews at the  Edinburgh Festival Fringe Graeme will take you on a journey that is both amusing and thought provoking             through the 120 miles of shelving in the National Library of Scotland.

Crown Copyright explained (still to be confirmed)

National Archives

Our AGM meeting will follow on from the presentations, after some refreshments.

Please feel free to circulate this to any colleagues who may be interested.

  • Please book your place on eventbrite asap
  • You may have been experiencing difficulties registering to attend the AGM via the Eventbrite page: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/swop-agm-2016-tickets-29248904260

Please try again to book your ticket. The button may be invisible (I think it’s a browser compatibility issue) but it is there, under the word ‘Free’ at the top of the page – look out for your cursor changing from an arrow to a wee hand. Click when the hand appears and you should be fine from then on.
