Open data

In 2015 the Scottish Government launched its Open Data Strategy. It has now published an Open Data Resource Pack which is intended to help public authorities throughout Scotland develop and implement their own plans for open data to support the strategy.

The  Open Definition sets out principles that define “openness” in relation to data and content
