Documenting the United Nations: ‘Protecting the present, preserving for the future’

Since its inception in 1945, the United Nations has kept archives to support its mission of maintaining international peace and security. Such a context presents archival and record-keeping challenges. In this talk, Catherine Hare, formerly Head of Records at UN Archives and Records Management Section in New York, will recount her experiences managing UN archives across the world.
