SWOP website – what do you use it for?

We will be changing the layout of the SWOP website in the future and would like to know what you find most useful about it? Do you use the links to monthly lists? Are you interested in forthcoming events? Is there anything that you would like to see included which isn’t at the moment?

Please send any views or opinions either by commenting on this post or by email to kirsteen.valenti@glasgow.ac.uk

  1. I use it for all the lists of web only documents to make sure we are not missing anything also for archived minutes and seminar info.
It would be good to have some images and the details of forthcoming meetings more prominently displayed. Also maybe an area for forthcoming events related to Government or Official publishing but not run by SWOP.

  2. Hi Kirsteen, I don’t manage to look at the SWOP website very often, only because my daily job doesn’t require me to do this but I do have a look at the SWOP blog to keep up to date with the updates, just in case there is something relevant to my work.

I just have a couple of suggestions re the SWOP blog: what about a link to the SWOP website on your blog? And a list SWOP members’ names and organisations they belong to might also be useful. Thanks.

  3. I use it for the minutes of SWOP meetings so I can remain informed and keep up to date with what is happening.

I also use it for the monthly lists relating to official publications.
